No matter if competition or leisure – everybody gets his or her share! Our LRP S10 Blast line gets a new addition. Moritz Gaul brings the hugely successful Short Course design to LRP. Based on the powerful real life stadium trucks in the USA, the new LRP S10 Blast Short Course truck does its big brothers more than justice with a great and realistic body and many Short Course details such as true to scale front and side impact bumpers as well as rubber mud flaps. It is available in the colors blue/silver and in stylish red and black – a first for LRP! Short Course has been booming greatly in the last years as it combines the advantages of Offroad and Onroad models. The jumping, skidding and sliding is taken from the offroad racing but at the same time the wheels are protected to allow door 2 door racing just like in onroad racing. During the European winter season, our international r&d team took the prototypes to the Spanish island of La Gomera for hardcore testing under toughest conditions. And it paid off. Because of the additional weight due to the larger size, Moritz decided to include the powerful high torque short Course motor instead of the S10 Blast standard motor. The chassis is longer compared to the S10 Blast platform chassis to achieve Short Course dimensions. The extended chassis allows the use of the popular 550 size motors like the LRP X12L Sort Course 550. Our tires are based on the current Short Course competition tires and are already prescribed in the German LRP Offroad-Challenge racing series. The racers are totally impressed by their great grip and durability. Most of the currently available Short Course trucks are 2WD models - not the LRP S10 Blast SC. Our Short Course truck is a full 4WD truck which offers significant advantages in the handling of the car. Convince yourself! The family of S10 Blast 4WD models is finally complete. The S10 Blast comes into the starting lineup as a genuine Short Course Truck. It offers the classical features of the S10 chassis and shines with a fully adjustable all terrain race suspension, CVD drive train front, big bore shocks with 4-hole shock pistons and is completely built with ball bearings. The LRP S10 Blast SC is the largest S10 of all times! With its dimensions, the Short Course Truck stands out prominently from the other S10 models. 530mm length, 300mm width and an impressive height of 210mm make it the BigSize S10. But the S10 Blast SC is still equipped with an ideal and very low centre of gravity and exhibits first class driving characteristics that are additionally supported by an S10 High Torque motor that has specifically been adapted for this model. The SC possesses a typical Short Course body and VTEC Overdose SC High-Grip tyres with foam inserts on black SC Truck-like spoke wheels.
