Jamie Booth: 40+ European Champion

Renaud Savoya wasn't the only European Champion crowned on Saturday, after the dust had settled from the two semi finals, the real heavyweights stepped up to the drivers stand. Starting on pole the evergreen permanent fixture of 1/8 buggy Mr Mike Cradock, having qualified 94th in the main draw, in 2nd Jamie Booth (qualified 95th) who was a late entry for the British team. We didn't get to see much of the final as its a mad time preparing for the main final but a wonderful victory for Jamie - 40+ European Champion, taking the win infront of Stephane Deroch of France and Fernando Almeida taking 3rd. Mike Cradock was on for a podium finish until he cruelly flamed out on his last lap relegating him to 4th place. In 5th place was last year's 40+ European Champion, Italian Stefano Moretti. Team Durango driver & designer Gerd Strenge ended up 6th and last years 2nd place finisher XRAY's chief man Juraj Hudy ended up in 7th place. 40+ Final Result Thanks to Phil @ NeoBuggy for all the info and image ;)
