Elliot Boots 2nd @ Nitro Mania in Belgium

A incredible weekends racing at the Nitromania in Belgium saw SMD’s supported driver Elliot Boots take another amazing result. Elliot qualified in the quarter finals, he then made the bump into the Semi and again showed some awesome skills to land himself into the A main final in 12th place. Showing good speed in the Semi Elliot was set for a great race, the lead swapped around in the early part of the final, Boots for some time then Drake held on for the majority of the main. With 20 mins to go Lee Martin, Boots and Ronnefalk had assembled as 'the chasing pack' driving in convey to hunt Drake's 30 sec lead down. 10 mins to go and the lead was cut, it was a fight between Drake, Ronnefalk and Boots. After the last fuel stops Ronnefalk had the lead but Drake and Boots battled, with only a couple of mins to go Ronnefalk strung together four 44 sec laptimes to build up a 6 sec lead from Boots who had dispensed Drake into 3rd. Boots on the new JConcepts - Sub Culture tyres put in two MIGHTY 42 sec lap times cutting the lead in half, had he had another lap who knows... Simply an awesome performance from Elliot and his Dad (Chris) its only a matter of time before we see a World or European Title from this young super star driver.
